About Dr. Aleman

Dr. Aleman is a Board Certified Urologist who is passionate about improving her patients’ health. She practices general urology combining experienced patient centered care and up to date knowledge and treatment.  Dr. Aleman’s clinical interests include vasectomies,  kidney stones, overactive bladder, urinary incontinence, testosterone replacement therapy, prostate health, and erectile dysfunction. She attended Baylor College of Medicine in Houston after her undergraduate training at Stanford University. She completed her Urology residency at Duke University in 1996, and has been in practice in Austin ever since.  She is a member in good standing with the American Urological Association (AUA), American Medical Association, Texas Medical Association, and the Travis County Medical Society.   Dr. Aleman practices in accordance with the AUA Code-of-Ethics.  She has been named as a “Superdoctor” by Texas Monthly magazine, and a “Top Doctor in Austin” by Austin Monthly.

Dr. Aleman performs elective surgeries at St. David’s Hospital, North Austin Surgery Center, and Seton Medical Center.  She is married with one daughter in college and a chocolate Labrador retriever.  She also enjoys hiking, fishing, and gardening.
