Conditions Dr. Aleman diagnoses and treats include enlarged prostate (benign prostatic hyperplasia), erectile dysfunction, kidney stones, urinary incontinence, and urinary tract infections (UTIs). In addition to supporting patients with healthy lifestyle choices, Dr. Aleman offers treatments like testosterone replacement therapy using Testopel® pellets and Botox® injections for an overactive bladder.

She also performs various minimally invasive procedures, including circumcisions, vasectomies, extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL), fitting slings for bladder incontinence, transurethral resection of a bladder tumor (TURBT), and transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP). 

Dr. Aleman completed her undergraduate training at Stanford University in Stanford, California, and then attended Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. She went to Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, for her urology residency and has been practicing in Austin ever since. 

She’s a member of the American Urological Association (AUA), Texas Medical Association, American Medical Association, and the Travis County Medical Society. She has privileges at St. David’s Hospital, Seton Medical Center, and North Austin Surgery Center, all in Austin, Texas.

Named a “Superdoctor” by Texas Monthly magazine and a “Top Doctor” in Austin, her patients experience first-hand her clinical expertise and caring, compassionate manner. Spanish- and English-speaking Dr. Aleman offers a unique perspective as a Latinx woman owning a practice in a largely male-dominated field.
